The High Council

HE City is nominally ruled by the Lightsbloods family. Although they started off as the toughest band of brigands in the region, time has softened their outlook and theycame to rule over Sarbreenar with a benevolent and light touch. But in a Night of Terror they have been assassinated and only an illegitimate daughter remains alive.

The day to day running of the city is overseen by the Mayor and the High Council. Some recent deaths and resignations have left vacancies. Currently the members are –

Mayor – Boris the Hat

Minister of Spiritual Affairs – Samian Ware
Minister of the Interior – ‘Angel’ Gabriel
Minister of the Exterior – Vacant
City Crier – Vacant
High Warden – Sharador Truesight
High Sheriff – Sir Mandorellan de Smythe
Captain of the Axe – Krakov Greataxe
Overall Commander New Sarbreenar Guard – Vok Zandar

It has also been announced that Charlie Carter has been elected as
Head of the Merchants’ Guild by the secretive Council of Ten.

City planning is subject to approval of the High Council
Some councillors also sit on the Judiciary
