Anvil Whiteflame

NNE VYLL Whiteflame was born in the subterranean mining city of ‘Cavernguard’ within the Earthfast Mountains. Cavernguard was once filled with platinum and silver veins but these have long been depleted, but the mining had created a vast network of tunnels and a magnificent underground complex; hence Cavernguard was turned into a training area for the Dwarven military.

Anvil came down from the Earthfast Mountains some three years ago (1369) her clan was partially destroyed by what later became known as ‘The Swarm’ to her home clan. The training complex of Cavernguard, her home from home, was laid waste, too, by what she believes was the same force that attacked Sarbreenar some two years ago. She arrived too late to help stop the destruction, but vowed to help rebuild Sarbreenar.

Anvil stands 3ft 2ins and weighs approximately 100 lbs. She has jet-black hair and rich red eyes. She is always seen wearing her fine chainmail, which gleams with pride, and she usually has her trident with her wherever she goes! Clean and well presented, her beard is only braided when she is on duty or working in her workshop. She can be seen at the Elks Roost Inn or at Roux Retreat when not working.

She enjoys ‘Krakovs Heat’, which is also brewed by her best friend, Captain Krakov Great Axe of the Sarbreenar 1st Light.

Her name ‘Anvil’ actually came from her first appearance, she arrived with a small collection of farm animals, chickens, sheep and some cows, and the biggest bull anyone had seen was pulling a large anvil. When she introduced herself to the High Council members they thought they heard her say she was ‘Anvil’ and not Anne Vyll. Seeing that she had with her a very large ornate Anvil, they put two and two together and came up with five. Ok, they sound the same but the paperwork that later came out for her to sign had Anvil written on it and she couldn’t read. Council member, Krakov, had a strong accent, too, and so when he read it out as Anne Vyll, she accepted the conditions of her employment and without realising it had sealed her new name. She has come to accept her name as a sign of acceptance into Sarbreenar.

She is the owner of ‘Anvils Workshops’, situated in the north part of Sarbreenar.

She hates goblins (and until she is proven different will continue too). This may cause some problems as two of the Sarbreenar Inferno Regulators are Goblins, but they have shown an exceptional use with the Regulators and so she lets them roam. But if they ever stepped out of line and caused any kind of problem for Sarbreenar she would have no hesitation in hauling them in for questioning.
