Charlie Carter’s Transportation

HARLIE’S business is based in a large compound close to the South trade Gate. You can find it easily by his tradesign – a broken wheel – which is hung outside.

High, spike topped walls surround his warehouses, stables and offices. No unauthorised personnel are allowed into the compound due to the value and confidentiality of the goods he transports. Past the guards and the gates can be seen a hive of activity as wagons are loaded and unloaded, horses are hitched and wagon guards limber up ready for another trip through the pass. Charlie’s bellowing voice can be heard cutting through the background noise. He is known as a grumpy old wretch with a heart of gold. He believes in a fair price for a fair job.
