Lucy Lyonne
– Priestess of Tymora and Queen of Spades.
In an effort to protect the Lady Jillian Lightsblood and the Celestial
Plaza she was felled by a not so lucky Flamestrike. ‘Oooh,
what were the odds of that?’
Duncan Fellborn
– Paladin of Torm and member of the Honest Watch.
In his usual heroic fashion Duncan perished whilst defending the
Gardens of Enlightenment from Zhentarim encroachment. During the
middle of a battle with a group of mages he was felled by a Runic
Guardian that had been chasing him for 11 hours.‘Hah!
Retreat from me will you Zhent scum? ... oh, you again *SQUISH*
Corwin
– A fighter of short history but a long Ranseur.
Felled by a dwarf with no name that he originally met five years
ago yesterday.
They remembered each other but the dwarf’s axes were sharper…..‘What
the *&$! Is his name?’
Arran Dumas
– Doombringer of Hoar.
Assaulted the siege engines menacing the city disguised as a flying
stump of wood with wings. Unfortunately the invisible spellcaster
with is lightning bolt forced an emergency landing which proved
fatal, though he did provide a soft landing spot for Spider Jerusalem.

Grimnash
Sliced and diced by a blade barrier and ultimately felled by an
Unholy spell cast by the despicable Simeier of Bane whilst trying
to defend the wall against the Zhentarim invaders.‘If
you keep me upright, I’ll keep you upright!’
Mythic Slightseer
– King of Spades
Mythic was a friend to all. Many were disappointed when he retired
from his long and successful career to turn to a life of research
and contemplation. He didn’t hesitate to come out of retirement
to help Sarbreenar at its hour of need, slowing the Zhantarim advance
from Portsoy.
Mythic Slightseer, member of CoSL and Spellbinder
within the ranks of the High and Honourable Convocation of Spellcasters,
fell in battle at the shrine to Shaundakul at what is now being
called ‘The Siege of Truisan’.
Although outnumbered 1,000 to 1 he held an
approaching army of Zhentarim at bay for 6 hours through a combination
of walls of force and outright trickery.
He eventually succumbed to a battery of spells
only after hearing the news from the Zhentarim leaders Simeier and
Apok that his dear friends Boris the Hat and Justin Claybourne had
been killed in battle and that Sarbreenar was lost.
Aleanna Undiminie
– Bard
Aleanna passed away defending her beloved playhouse, cut down by
cruel swords. No more will her voice raise itself in song nor will
her fine fingers pluck the strings of her harp and our hearts.
The curtain has come down on Raileth
The self styled ‘Voice of the People’ had the plug pulled
on his bardic career today, victim of some particularly harsh critics.
During his brief tenure in Sarbreenar
he held the position of Minister of the Exterior before passing
the mantle on to resume an adventuring career. His songs will live
long in the memory of all, particularly Duncan Fellborn, who still
has Raileth’s song book in his possession.

– dashing blade and ladies’s man
His swash has finally buckled under the strain.
Amarzil
– Beloved High Priestess of Sune
As the Zhentarim overran the Gardens of Enlightenment, she wept
at the way they were defacing the Temple of Sune. She was cut down
in her Primacy.
Justin Claybourne
– (Golden Balls) Paladin of Torm – Jack of Hearts
The noble paladin of Torm fell in battle against a Blackguard of
Bane, head removed from his shoulders by one fell swoop of a blade.
During his life he was a member of the famed
and notable adventuring company CoSL and husband to Ninevah. He
is also survived by a daughter ‘Winnie’ but alas never
got to lay his eyes upon her face. May
he find the peace in death he never seemed to acquire in life.
