A new site for worship
After a period of relative inactivity, the Bridge Gate Playhouse
is a hive of activity. Outside, a large sign has been put up over
the door, declaring 'OPEN FOR GENERAL WORSHIP.' The sign is decorated
with representations of the holy symbols of all gods whose temples
and shrines once graced the Celestial Plaza, such as Tymora, Selune,
Lathander, Tyr, Gond, Chauntea, Eldath, Mystra, Torm, as well
as a number of the other gods of Faerun.
Inside the playhouse furniture has been moved around and prayer
mats and cushions have been placed. Sarbreenar's most famous performer,
Jomm Tones, directed operations in his usual laid back fashion.
"Hey guys, it'd be really cool if you could move those chairs
over there. Thanks, that's great."
Now he's satisfied with the playhouse's new layout he hefts his
rather impressive guitar from somewhere backstage, and gets ready
to do what he does best. Strumming his guitar loudly and crying
out in a voice that carries through most of the Southern portion
of the city, "In the name of Milil and all the other groovy
gods, we're gonna rock this city. Feel the funk!!!" Jomm
launches into a loud and rousing song of hope and victory in the
name of Milil and Sarbreenar.
The recently rescued Samian Ware, bustles his way into the Bridgegate
Playhouse on most days to over see all religious matters and to
try to stop the other priests from squabbling over portfolios,
dogma and divine rights.
