‘Roux Retreat’ Restaurant

HE ‘Roux Retreat’ Restaurant is a single storey, marbled structure. Only thirty seats are available in this exclusive establishment but the premises also serves wine. The restaurant sometimes hosts dinner soirées for the elite of Sarbreenar.

Proprietor: Braneaux le Roux

Braneaux the dwarf is one of Sarbreenar’s most colourful characters. His flaming red hair and long red plaited beard have given rise to his nickname –The Red! He plays up his image by wearing red clothes at all times. He is tiny of stature, closer to gnome height than dwarven size.

Braneaux Le Roux is a dwarf who was raised by the Brynwood elves! The elves found the abandoned ten year-old in the wreck of an ambushed caravan and adopted him. They tried to mould a prodigy and it worked – partially. And so, Braneaux looks rather like a short, squat bearded elf.

He speaks with a strange, affected accent that no one recognises. He appears as a cultured and refined ‘noble’ figure. His looks, clothes and decor are always immaculate.

When he is aroused, beware! He has a fiery red temper to match his red plaited beard.
