Import and Export – Captain Destiny Malachite

HE HOME and headquarters of Captain Destiny Malachite is a strange sight. It is the only building in Sarbreenar made entirely of wooden planking. It is built like a great galleon with full fighting decks and three masts which are used as flagpoles. The decks serve as balconies and the Captain can often be seen surveying the city from above. The flagpoles fly peculiar flags which no one has yet been able to decipher.

The Captain may be eccentric but he is also one of the most successful merchants in Sarbreenar. He originates from Sembia and operates a small fleet of well armed trading ships and caravans which carry goods backwards and forwards throughout the Region of the Vast.

He regularly runs caravans from the ports at Procampur and Ravens Bluff. He has yet to lose a single ship to pirates and this has led to some speculation about his relationship with the notorious pirates of the Sea of Fallen Stars and why he has settled in Sarbreenar – some distance from the sea. There are rumours that he has been seen leaving Sarbreenar in the early hours of the morning, heading for Portsoy.

He is a flamboyant dresser and always wears his beard plaited and be-ribboned.
